Momentum Group is offering an opportunity for a Human Capital Graduate Intern to join its Human Capital team in Centurion, Gauteng.
This internship is designed for a graduate who is interested in Human Resources, Learning and Development, employee experience and organisational capability. The successful candidate will receive practical exposure while working alongside Human Capital Business Partners and Learning & Development professionals.
The programme is intended as a structured 12-month career launchpad, providing coaching, structured learning and progressively greater responsibility.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A completed Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Human Resource Management
- Industrial/Organisational Psychology
- Business Administration with an HR-related specialisation
- A related field
- Basic understanding of:
- Human Resource Management principles
- Employee lifecycle processes
- Learning and Development
- Talent management
- Labour legislation fundamentals
- Computer literacy, particularly:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft PowerPoint
Key Responsibilities
The intern will gain exposure to Human Capital Business Partnering, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee offboarding.
Other responsibilities include:
- Coordinating interviews and induction processes.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.
- Responding to routine employee and manager queries.
- Supporting employee engagement, wellness and diversity initiatives.
- Preparing reports, templates and meeting packs.
- Developing dashboards and analysing people-related data.
- Supporting Human Capital projects, audits and process improvements.
- Coordinating Learning & Development interventions.
- Managing invitations, calendars, attendance and evaluations for training.
- Supporting Learning Management System administration.
- Assisting with learning-needs analysis.
- Supporting onboarding, leadership and compliance programmes.
- Analysing learning participation and completion data.
- Assisting with bursary and SETA administration where applicable.
- Supporting Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) documentation.
- Tracking employee development activities.
- Exploring modern learning practices and AI-enabled learning tools.
