About the Truworths Stores Learnership 2026
The Truworths Stores Learnership Programme offers individuals the chance to gain hands-on experience and training in the retail field.

Through this programme, you will be trained as a crosstrained sales consultant.
This means you will get experience in several areas of the store, which include:

Sales floor operations
Service desk operations
Merchandising and stock control
Customer service
POS (Point of Sale) systems

What You Will Learn

1.
Sales Floor Training
You will learn how to:
Approach and help customers
Promote products and special offers
Keep the store tidy and attractive
Understand fashion trends
Provide good customer service

2.
Service Desk Training
You will get training on:
Processing purchases and returns
Answering customer questions
Using store systems in a professional way
Staying calm and professional in stressful situations

3.
Stock & Merchandising
You will learn:
– How to display products correctly
– How to follow the store’s layout rules
How to reduce loss of stock
– How to apply MBP (Merchandise Best Practice) rules

4.
Assessments & Logbooks
This programme includes more than just working in the store.
You will also need to:
Keep logbooks
Prepare for assessments
– Be assessed and declared competent
Complete at least 120 working hours as part of the programme
