CENTRE: Gqeberha Labour Centre, Eastern Cape

REQUIREMENTS: You need to have a high school certificate or Senior Certificate, and a Grade C Security Certificate from PSIRA.
You should also have at least 12 months of security work experience. You should know about the Access to Public Premises and Vehicles Act, evacuation procedures, minimum information security standards, PSIRA procedures, Batho Pele Principles, Public Service Regulations Act, and the Labour Centre’s policies and procedures. You need to have good verbal and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills, problemsolving skills, listening skills, computer skills, planning and organizing skills, and analytical skills.

DUTIES: You will be in charge of controlling who enters and leaves the Labour Centre and the provincial office.
You will ensure that information and assets are protected within the Centre and the provincial office. You will do security patrols of the building and offices to keep employees and clients safe. You will also conduct internal investigations and enforce security rules and regulations.
