REQUIREMENTS: Grade 10 / Std 8 qualification.
A valid code 08 driver’s license. 7 to 12 months of relevant experience. Knowledge required includes: understanding of relevant laws, guidelines, policies, and procedures. Knowing how to maintain a motor vehicle. Understanding storage requirements. Knowledge about messenger services. Knowing how to support the routing office, such as managing the registry. Knowing how to make copies. Knowing how to operate the motor vehicle. Knowing how to get trip approval. Knowing how to complete the vehicle log book. Knowing how to record fuel usage and kilometrage. Skills needed: driving, reading, writing, fixing or changing flat tyres, and cleaning vehicles.

DUTIES: Drive light and medium vehicles to transport passengers and deliver items like mail and documents.
Do routine maintenance on the vehicle you are assigned and report any issues quickly. Keep all necessary records and log books for the vehicle and the items you handle. Provide clerical help to the office. Offer messenger services in the office, which includes things like assisting with the registry, copying and faxing documents, and collecting and delivering documents and other items at the college.
