Job Vacancy: Cleaner – Supervisor

Salary: R193,359 – R227,766 per annum (Level 04)

Requirements:
- ABET Level 4 or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a cleaning services environment
- Knowledge of various cleaning materials and operation of cleaning equipment
- Good understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
- Ability to manage large staff teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise cleaning services effectively
- Inspect physical environments to ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Monitor availability and condition of cleaning equipment
- Control inventory management of cleaning materials and equipment in various buildings
- Order, receive, and issue cleaning materials as needed
- Compile cleaning reports and draft cleaning schedules for different buildings
- Liaise with senior management about any arising issues promptly
- Manage leave and discipline of cleaning staff under supervision
- Oversee staff management according to the Performance Management and Development System (PMDS)
