Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be expected to complete the NC: Wealth Management NQF Level 5 learnership programme and all required coursework.
Learners will gain practical experience across key areas of the Wealth Management function and may assist with client servicing activities and customer enquiries. They will also develop an understanding of financial products and services, including life benefits, retirement funds and funeral policies.
Other responsibilities may include assisting with the administration of claims and underwriting processes, maintaining accurate records and ensuring that information is processed correctly. Learners will be expected to build their understanding of financial services products, industry regulations and workplace practices.
Candidates will also work collaboratively with colleagues to provide excellent customer service, manage their learning objectives and workplace responsibilities effectively, and contribute positively to team activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have completed Grade 12.
The following minimum school results are required:
- Mathematics: Minimum Level 4 (50%)
- English: Minimum Level 4 (50%)
- Mathematical Literacy: Minimum Level 5 (60%)
- Second Language: Minimum Level 4 (50%)
An incomplete tertiary qualification in a financial-related field will be considered advantageous.
Applicants must also have effective written and verbal English communication skills. Basic computer knowledge is required, particularly experience or familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
