Location: Southern Cape TB Centre (Harry Comay Hospital)

Requirements:
- Basic numeracy and literacy (minimum requirement)
- Relevant experience in a household/cleaning environment within a health facility
- Willingness to work shifts, including night shifts, weekends, overtime, and public holidays
- Ability to perform physical tasks and operate heavy-duty cleaning and household equipment
- Flexibility to rotate through wards as required by service needs
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment, stock, assets, linen, and equipment control
- Supportive to housekeeping supervisor and adherence to policies and cleaning standards
Duties:
- Perform effective cleaning services including dusting, washing, scrubbing, polishing, and refuse removal
- Adhere strictly to safety measures, Occupational Health and Safety policies, and Infection Prevention Control measures
- Assist the supervisor with general housekeeping duties such as control of cleaning and household equipment, care and control of linen, and serving meals to patients
